I am facing an issue, details are as under
PO for a steel plate is created with required quantity in kg. UOM for ordering the plate is KG. Alternate UOM maintained in Material Master is M2 (Square Meter) . Alternate UOM value (conversion) maintained in the Material master is 5000 Kg = 100 M2. Under / Over delivery tolerance- 0-10 %
Problem: PO for 12 mm thick steel Plate created with quantity 2000 KG (Dimension given in Text Field and supposed area is 40 M2). Received plate is having weight as 2200 KG (@ actual), but the dimensions which was mentioned in the PO text have been adhered, except for the thickness which getting varied marginally and accepted by quality.
GRN made on actual weight received (2200 KG) and subsequently when the Plate is taken into stock, system converted stock into area 44 M2 whereas actual received area was 40 M2. System showing excess stock of 4 M2 which is virtual.
How to deal with this situation?
