Dear Experts,
I have facing issue regarding customer in CRM.
We have legacy system where customer gets created and after that replicated in CRM through webservice (Z created interface).
The issue is when ever customer created with category ID 1 (Person)its created successfully
in CRM after they change same customer category ID from 1 to 2(Person to Organisation).
The changes updated and CRM generated a new BP number for the already created customer.
As per the client requirement they want whenever change category id for the customer it
should update the old customer number instead of created new number.
Legacy BP ID-ab1234-customer created in CRM 10023398(category ID-1 as person)
Changed category ID from 1 to 2
Legacy BP ID-ab1234-customer created in CRM 10023399(category ID-2 as Organisation)
Is there any possibility to fix the issue by putting validation at program level or
Enhancement?
